Governance – BOD

Fronditha Care, formerly known as the Australian Greek Society for the Care of the Elderly, was established in 1977 to respond to the needs of the elderly in the community.

Together with the support of the community, Fronditha Care continues to be a provider of high quality culture specific aged care residential and community services, a close partner with the Greek community in Victoria and Newcastle and the rest of Australia, in responding to the needs of the elderly.

Fronditha Care has been highly accredited by the Federal Government’s Australian Aged Care Quality Agency (AACQA); our residential aged care facilities were accredited in 2015 and our community care services in 2016. Both achieved the highest quality standards while the culture specific model that Fronditha Care adheres to has received particular commendation from the AACQA’s assessors.
