Fronditha Care is funded in the Southern Region to deliver this program. At times, people from a culturally and linguistically diverse (CALD) background and who have diverse needs may experience particular difficulties in negotiating the service system and accessing Home and Community Care (HACC) and other related services that will appropriately meet their needs. This service provides a bi-lingual and bi-cultural staff member who can assist with helping to identify needs, provide information about services available and their respective processes, support assessments, advocate for and link and refer individuals to relevant services.

In addition, this service can provide support to mainstream agencies who are seeking the cultural expertise and input in working effectively with individuals of a Greek speaking background. This may involve joint assessments, input into care planning and sharing knowledge to assist in understanding the intricacies of the Greek culture.
