Important COVID-19 update – NEwcastle
As you would be aware, a COVID-19 outbreak has been identified in Greater Sydney, the Central Coast and Sydney’s Northern Beaches. As a result, NSW Public Health Unit is issuing restrictive measures to residential aged care providers that must be adhered to, in order to protect our residents, staff and the broader community.
A Public Health Order issued yesterday, Sunday 20/12/2020, requests the following:
- No visitation to residential aged care providers unless by exemption
- All staff and visitors are to wear surgical masks when on the premises of a residential aged care facility.
