Moving from voluntary lockdown to restricted visitation

Fronditha Care will be moving from voluntary lockdown to restricted visitation at all of its aged care facilities as of Monday 4 May 2020.

Fronditha Care has therefore made the decision to extend the voluntary lockdown across all its residential aged care facilities for another two weeks until 7pm, Sunday 3/5/2020, to limit the risk of infection of Coronavirus to our residents.

Social Support Groups suspended till 30/04/20

Fronditha Care has further suspended its Social Support Groups till 30/4/2020 following the restrictions imposed by the federal government to gatherings of only 2 people. Please read our latest announcement.

Update on COVID-19 – 26.03.20

It has now been one week since we implemented a voluntary lockdown of our residential care facilities in Melbourne and Newcastle. Fronditha Care would like to inform you that thus far there have been no cases of COVID-19 reported amongst our residents and staff.

Social Support Groups Cancellation

It is with a heavy heart that Fronditha Care’s management has made the decision to suspend our social support groups for a period of 2 weeks, from Monday March 23rd 2020.

Voluntary Lockdown of Residential Care Facilities

Fronditha Care will commence voluntary lockdown across all its residential care facilities as of 7pm, Thursday 19 March until 7pm, Sunday 5 April, to limit the risk of infection of Coronavirus to our residents.

By Thursday 19 March 2020, the organisation’s six Social Support Groups will have been suspended for two weeks until staff can be properly briefed and trained in new screening measures.

Important Update Re: Novel Coronavirus (COVID-19)_EN

Fronditha Care will be communicating with you regularly to update you on measures we are taking to protect you and your loved ones in our residential care facilities against the spread of COVID-19. As of Tuesday 17/3/2020 our visiting hours will be restricted from 12pm – 7pm.

As you enter a facility, present yourself to our reception staff first to answer some simple questions.
